Very few people use the words fun and taxes together... and don't worry, I'm not one of them. My name is Alix and I hope to make taxes easier to understand and less of a hassle. Because let's face it, nobody really likes to do their taxes.

Although taxes are a basic responsibility of each individual, the number and different kinds of taxes make them difficult to understand. So when tax season comes around, we all turn to tax system or tax credits. Having a better understanding can even lead to tax savings... and CPA's and electronic tax preparation services for help. But wouldn't it be nice to understand them? Don't we all want to save a few bucks?

I am a CPA with a Master's in Accounting and I'll use my knowledge and experience to help explain many of the tax options available today. Hopefully I can help guide you through the world of taxation and make it a little bit easier.
