I don't know about Syracuse but I do know that Giftcards.com has a 48 hr turn around on their personalized cards. I bought several, myself. Great gift for friends and family!

Toys "R" Us has a kiosk in the Times Square store that allow you do personalize a card with pictures and text and print it on the spot. Really cool! you can walk out with the card and it only takes a minute.
You forgot Subway(R). Their interface is the best. Much easier to use.
